Glenn-Aire Company was established in 1975 as a sole proprietorship by Glenn D. Cornelius and located in Granbury, Hood County , Texas .  The business has operated uninterrupted under the same name since originally formed. In March of 2005 after 30 years Glenn decided to retire and turned over the helm to Jeff McKenzie.

	Jeff has been in the Air Conditioning business for over 25 years with experience in all aspects of the residential and light commercial HVAC field. Previous to taking over Glenn-Aire Jeff worked for the Trane Company for 10 years and for the last 6 years was a Territory Manager for the southern area of Texas Trane out of Dallas / Ft. Worth .
	In March 2008 Jeff's son Matt McKenzie came to Glenn-Aire. Before joining his father Matt went to Austin College in Sherman , Texas he worked for Advent Air Conditioning Company in Lewisville , Texas and he was in the United States Air Force. Bringing Matt on board is our comment to our customers and the community that we hope to be here for many years.

The primary purpose of this company is to design, engineer, install, service, and maintain residential and light commercial air conditioning systems.  We specialize in air conditioning systems, heat pump systems, geothermal heat pump systems, light commercial systems and energy saving agreements to help you maintain your investment. We are specially trained and certified to insure your system will be comfortable and energy efficient. We rely heavily on our many years of experience having installed over 10,000 systems, and continue to seek training and understanding in the latest technology.

We have received many national awards and are recognized as a Independent Trane Comfort Specialist TM dealer.  We pride ourselves in our customer relationships and customer service. The Company has never had any consumer litigation filed against us nor have we ever operated under protection of bankruptcy laws.

We maintain all required licenses (TACLA024048E) and certifications to operate in this industry, and are fully insured through Nationwide Insurance Company.
